So many years have passed since high school; I can hardly believe it’s 50! By the time I was a senior, I was a free spirited hippie girl, played guitar in coffee houses ( those were the days!) and aspired to either a musical career or attend college to become an English teacher. After marriage at age 22 and becoming a Mom of three children, I was widowed at age 31. While taking care of my husband who died of complications related to Hodgkin’s disease, I decided to become a nurse. I am grateful for following my heart to discover my passion, which is serving others; in nursing since 1985, raising 3 independent and fearless children and staying true to the faith I found in my 20’s. My life is rich, full and free. I still play guitar, piano and a little fiddle now and then, love to garden and spend time with my husband of 22 years and our blended family. We have 6 children and 10 grandchildren! I am active in volunteer nursing and my church. I look forward to perhaps reconnecting with any classmates I may remember!!
